Pictorial
space is a poem in motion, a performance through which I move threw, juxtaposing
fact and fiction, alluding to questions with or without answers. I seek the
profound and the paradoxical; the allure of the strange and the understanding
of the absurd. I relish in the complexity of my subjects, where line becomes form,
and form becomes concept. I watch,
I borrow what is offered at that decisive moment and put it into frames.
I then fracture those frames. When I
feel powerless I create powerful work. I become satisfied. It delivers
something new each time. A new method will arise, some new idea will burn with
intensity; like a mystic to its conduit. I bare witness as an activist
towards my own spirituality. The characters I create are the ghosts inside
me, the essence of another life form. If I tempt
you, make you question, make you realize something about yourself, make
you witness the abstraction of time, then I have succeeded. Everything
else is just the remains.
